I'd like to make a movie. Nothing big, nothing special, nothing long. Something short and fun. I have a sense of creativity, extremely low grade equipment, and the desire. What I lack is a story. A script or plot. So if anyone has any ideas, or something scribbled on a dinner napkin that is 2-10 minuets long and wants to share, I'd like to hear it.

Bumpo Foopa is a large vomitus mass plaguing the very existence to those calling Company A, home. After the ordeal of Company A - B drama, I was talked to about other things my coworkers did not like about me. Actually, just what Bumpo Foopa does not like about me.
For starters: If you are my friend and I respect you, and you pinch my titty, I'm going to pinch yours back. Male, female, makes no nevermind. If this is an unacceptable term regarding our friendship, don't pinch my tit, or don't be my friend. Well, a friend, who knows my rule, and has tested it in the past, played the titty pinching game again. This time in front of Bumpo Foopa. My retaliation was as it always will be (save, no longer in front of Bumpo Foopa). Bumpo Foopa told my bosses, "The Doors".
Secondly, another technician of mine was horsing about rolling himself on a wheeled chair in one of our buildings. Obviously unbecoming of a person in charge, I help. He became a shot put sans the tossing part and it was funny. Should I have done it? No. I know that. Bumpo Foopa knew that too. Bumpo Foopa told my bosses, "The Doors".
This is the same Bumpo Foopa, caught several times, locked in a large vomitus make out session with Blimpo Foopa. The same that gives "fisting classes." Just someone who you would think would not make an issue about the stupid things I have done, unless there is an agenda.
I have to be careful now, ALL THE TIME, for fear of job safety. That is, perhaps, not a bad thing. But to be in an environment where fun is encouraged, and have to always wonder if I am crossing the line is disenchanting. Big smiles!

I cannot get over it.
I think Zero 7 has become my most favorite musical artist of ever time.
I got two of their albums today and a good portion of the songs on one of them I have heard already, but they never get old. The ones I have not heard, amazing. I have yet to hear a single song by them that I do not like. That I don't enjoy. I have not even heard one I am "eh" about. If anyone has suggestions for similar music, I'd love you hear it.
I have listened to some stuff by Massive Attack, and I do like it, but they are not consistent with the type of music like Zero 7. Robert Miles, Potlach, Flunk, Enigma, Frou Frou/Imogen Heap, da du da... all good stuff. But I think Zero 7 is amazing.
Smiley smiles, it's four in the damn morning. I needs ta sleep.
Guten nacht!

So we had our first gig today! It felt good, man. UCF went to the owner of Hard Knocks, the arcade in east Orlando (http://hardknocksorlando.com), and asked them to set up an entertainment station before their basketball game tonight. Brad, a guy from Company A, worked with him on a lot of video systems in the arcade and was helping to supply things for this gig.
The gig: 2 level 16x24 stage in front of the UCF Arena, with Rock Band hooked into 2 player view LCDs, and 2 crowd view LCDs. It looked awesome. But it's missing something... SOME F-IN AUDIO!
So Brad told the guy about Loud & Clear, LLC. and I talked with him and we set up our PA with Rock Band patched into our rig and it sounded great. The guy was blown away! I think there are 7 or 12 more of these things out there at the college and I will post them when I find them out if anyone wants to come out, rock out, and help support Hard Knocks and Loud & Clear! It is all free to play and looked like lots of fun!
The only downside, he isn't making money off of this, so neither are we. However, he is trading us game time at his facility which has full combat simulations, capture the flag, search and rescue missions... sounds like a blast!
Support your local small business! I made a MySpace account for Loud & Clear, but all the "layout generators" I have found aren't to shnazzy. If you have used any that give you nice options, and the ability to use your own images and such, please let me know.
Until next time,
Adios

You ever start doing something and know someone is going to think you are up to no good, doing something wrong, or you have seen it done and thought it wasn't wrong so you do it to? Yeah, that was tonight.
My main income comes from Company A. No real income has been made with Company B yet, but we hope to. This weekend is presenting a real opportunity with Company B so we brought some equipment to Company A to test, work out glitches... We used a truck to get it in, and used the same truck to get it out. While exchanging items from Truck A to Truck B, Company A's ever watchful eye was curious about our load. The eye didn't think it was a big deal, but had to report to the main eye the situation. The main eye called my boss, who was not knowledgeable to any of this evenings dealings. Wrong boss to have on duty... He is doing his job and doing it well, and hopefully, as we have done this type of thing many times (but usually people higher than myself know about it) and the fact we weren't really doing anything wrong, it will not make a huge wave. I fully understand there was a better way to handle this, and the thought that the process we chose was shady but okay is far from my mind.
Basically, it won't happen again.
It sucks when you know why someone would think you are doing something wrong, but you are not really, ends up biting you in the buttocks.
Thoughts and prayers to the rents, and have a good night.

I cannot express how awesome tonight's weather is! It is amazingly freezing! I cannot get enough.
My soon to be in-laws are in town and they are going to Cirque this weekend so we went to Downtown Disney to buy the tickets... We procrastinated so the seats are pretty terrible, if you believe there is a terrible seat in that theatre. They are pretty much the second to last worst seats you could have. But they will love it, I'm sure. That was my Christmas present to them and I'm still not done. I haven't even gotten my Best Man anything yet... Aie, so terrible at this. So many Christmas presents I haven't gotten yet...
Anyway, it was absolutely gorgeous out there tonight! I wish it was like this all year! Move Universal to Boston, or New York, or Colorado, or somewhere. Get me out of the damn tropics... Nope, I am doomed to sweat to death hovering ever so north of the damn equator. ::sigh::
I'll be going to bed soon. I'm having lunch with my COO tomorrow so I need to be well rested. Open my window a little more, fire up the fan in front of it and cozily drift off to sleep.

I have waited too long to post this as this happened the end of last week.
In case you haven't already heard, I proposed and am now engaged (have been for a couple months now, this is not what happened last week). During dinner with my folks we were discussing honeymoon options. We told them due to the wedding, hopefully having bought a house, and oh yeah, the wedding, we would have a small one just to get away and then have the one we really want later down the road when we have saved enough money. They asked what we wanted to do and I told them we want to go to Ireland. "Hm." So last week they told my fiance and I to sit down, they had something to tell us. I'm used to this being a bad talk because I was a really shitty kid to these lovely people, and the "sit down we need to have a talk" statement was all to familiar. However, I have shaped up and tried to correct the wrongings of my younger life and this talk was in fact a "good" situation. "Good"? I mean "F-ING FANTASTIC"! They are flying us to Ireland! FRICKIN' SWEET! I cannot express how excited I was when they told me that. We will probably be taking two weeks, so we will be seeing the rest of the British Isles as well and hopefully jump over to the mainland, see some of stupid France (the lady wants to go), and for me, a little taste of Italy. Regardless of the rest of Europe, Ireland is my Mecca. I have to go there at least once before I die, and I am going a lot sooner than I thought I would be. This will also be the first time I have "left" the country. I have been to Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, but I don't REALLY count those. They for the most part are all a part of the same chunk o' land. A whole new culture, a whole new plot of soil, a whole new experience!
Obviously I am going to kiss the Blarney Stone, but if anyone has been out there and has suggestions of things to do, most specifically in Ireland, I'd love to hear it. I want to see hills, Castles, and pubs. I'll be flying into Dublin so I'll see the city, but I'm more interested in country side activities. Even if it is just driving around the island.
Awesome. Yay for me!

I love PhotoShop. I'll have to make another when the game is not in night time. Though the darkness probably helps the lack of colors. It'd be nice if LJ had higher pic size allowance.
Tomorrow is Halloween and I still haven't gotten a pumpkin. WTF? (Que "Price is Wrong" sound bite)

Here we go again. Who do the fuck heads in the "news room" have writing their news stories?
Fires. Lots of fucking fires. I actually know a few people out in California dealing with this stuff. Whether it should or not that always makes it more personal and you seem to care a little more.
Channel 6 at it again.
"Coming up: Many people forced out of their homes are taking shelter in a near by football stadium. (Right on.) Team leaders wonder what this will do to the football season."
...
Are. You. Fucking. Kidding me? Honestly, how is that what you are concerned about?
"Well, we had to remove all the now homeless people due to the fires from our stadium for the evening so we could have a game, but they all burned up so there was no there to watch it. Still, it was a good game!"
And of course... here it comes.... wait for it.... FUCK YOU!

So I'm all caught up. I finished off what I had left of season 6 and just finished the premier of 7.
I hate commercials.
I thought 6 was a great season and I like the direction they are taking the show. Enough hiding, enough monster of the week, enough bad guys pretending to be good guys. I am a little disappointed in the lack of Green Arrow-ness. I am not a fan of having all these characters added in, so much so that most of them do not even make appearances for blocks of episodes. Not just Green Arrow. Lois took a break, Jimmy (who still has to warm up for me. I liked Iceman and all, but so far he is just another drama causer) is a rarity, and now they are adding Supergirl, Manhunter, and the JLA. I just hope it doesn't turn in to the Bill & Ted show. So many people it looses plot, then everyone bursts in to dance. I'm excited to see what they have in store. They still have not put Green Arrow into the opening credits, but they threw Supergirl in real quick. That bothers me. Plus the absence of Martha Kent (which honestly, doesn't really bother me.... too much). And they can stop with those creative ambitions they have every-once-in-a-while. That whole noir episode was ridiculous, add to the fact they used the most minor and most recently added character to form it around. Chloe being some kind of super healer, death to lifesaver... eh. If they hadn't already done a healer, maybe.
I tell you what: I'm ready for that DAMN CAPE and some FLYING SHIT! Everyone can fly but him! WTF? Even Bizarro.
They have kind of put Brainiac away. I like the super-villains.
When I get my house the first thing I intend to do is start throwing Smallville parties. I know how things work so DVR will be involved and shock collars for anyone thinking it is okay to talk during the show ;)
Here is hoping. Until then, I'll wait patiently for Thursdays, and fast forward the commercials.

So I went to see my first prospective house today. I actually saw it twice. First time I brought Liz out to look with me, then I ran to my folks and scooped them up, then had Pete meet me there and took a trek back out to look again, and it is pretty unanimous. I'm making an offer tomorrow!
It all began, some two days ago, when I got an email notifying me of a drastic price drop. I emailed my realtor and told him I wanted to look into it. We met today, went over a few necessaries, and I am going to hit up a lender in the morning, and buy myself a house!
It is exactly where I want it to be, I'm never going to find a price like this again, and though a little small the place is perfect for a starter home.
I can't express how excited I am. God willing, I will own a piece of the real estate pie.

It is a sad day.
As I called to make reservations for my mostest favorite restaurant, I was informed they are now closed.
That is right. Kanpai of Tokyo is closed forever.
